The 11th Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting took place in Gali on 20 January 2010. Georgian Government, de facto Abkhaz, Russian and EUMM representatives attended under the auspices of the UN.

In an engaged and constructive dialogue, participants discussed recent incidents exchanging information in this regard. Maritime security as well as freedom of movement and cross-boundary co-operation in criminal matters were amongst the other issues addressed.

The possibility of re-establishing a free bus service across the Administrative Boundary Line in order to facilitate freedom of movement was also discussed.

The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Gali on 9 February 2010.
