On 12 December a delegation from Lithuania visited EUMM Field Office Mtskheta. The members of the delegation were Mr.Zilvinas Tomkus, Director of the International Relations Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence; Asta Sidlauskiene, Adviser from the International Relations Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence; Donatas Katilius, Defence Attache, Lithuanian Embassy to Georgia; Deividas Kertenis, Lithuanian Embassy to Georgia; and Ruta Rudinskaite (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, responsible for NATO partnership).
The guests were given a comprehensive briefing on the activities of the Field Office, then they joined an EUMM patrol to the Administrative Boundary Line at Odzisi, where they were familiarized with the situation on the ground with special focus on the security situation.
