On 17 February, EUMM Georgia Head of Mission, Kęstutis Jankauskas, addressed the Subcommittee on Security and Defence in the European Parliament on the subject of “EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia: state of play and future perspectives.”
The meeting was held in association with the delegation to the EU-Armenia and EU-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees and the EU-Georgia Parliamentary Association Committee. Also speaking were Kenneth Deane, Director of the EU Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability, EEAS, and Natalie Sabanadze, Ambassador of Georgia to the EU.
