The meeting took place in Tbilisi during the Foreign Minister’s meeting with the Polish community in Georgia and was organised in the framework of his official visit to Georgia.
The Foreign Minister was able to talk to the Polish Mission staff members about the role and work of the Mission and their experiences of working on the ground across the country. He thanked the Mission for its efforts in seeking to bring about greater stability in the areas close to the administrative boundary lines and expressed his gratitude for the dedication and commitment of the Polish staff.
Poland is the fifth largest contributor to the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia, represented by 23 personnel members.
