FIELD OFFICE MTSKHETA VISITS CHILDREN IN THE IDP SETTLEMENT OF TSEROVANI WITH A CIRCUS PERFORMANCE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Humanitarian and Human Rights Issues Team of Field Office Mtskheta invited the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) children living in the Tserovani settlement to participate in numerous outdoor activities prepared specially for them. Around 300 children and school students, together with their parents, gathered on 23 June at the Tserovani school football field to take part in an interactive performance by Circus Shapito Antre as well as face painting activities. Also EUMM leaflets, posters, balloons, candies and cookies were distributed among the participants of the event. Children as well as EUMM monitors enjoyed spending time together and getting to know each other better in such a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.
