The thirty-first meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), chaired by the United Nations, took place in Gali on 26 October 2011.
Participants discussed the general security situation since the last meeting in September, particularly alleged violations of the Administrative Boundary Line. Participants also discussed ways to improve the effectiveness of the hotline, which is an important tool of communications.
The meeting took place in a professional and businesslike atmosphere.
The next meeting is due to take place in Gali on 30 November 2011.
